quick update, i made a bit more progress on the engine bay today. i made a custom oil catch can and mounted it, but still have to run braided lines to it once the engine is installed. i also decided to replicate the break lines that run accross the firewall b/c i looked really naked. it isnt 100% replicated as i only ran 2 out of the 4 lines that go into the ABS unit but i did this b/c it was really the only way to make it look clean and visible with the body on the chasis. oh, and i also made the line that runs to the slave cylinder on the tranny
i also took apart the pulley assembly and made my own so i could make a realistic belt for it, im not 100% satisfied with how i mounted the pulleys back, but it will definatly help when building the next model, i think it still made it look a bit more realistic then the plastic painted belt:
