I am not a fan on oil additives. You may be able to go a little heavier on the oil. We use (wait for the people to complain about bad information) 10W30. If you are just doing one quart in an oil change, that is really nothing to be concerned about. You may have a seal that has a little seepage if you look really closely. Ford will seep at the rear main seal and leak oil under the heads, usually on the passenger side just above the starter.
