Idle Air Control Motor/Valve? Help!

Hello all im new here, I have a problem with a 94 concorde, recently, when I come to a light and stop, the car just stalls, but will start right back up, but will have to keep the gas down a bit to keep the engine on. But then I tried a few minutes ago, gave it a little gas for a few seconds then let off, and it idled fine without shutting off, it just started this today and seems to be a bit random as far as when it does this. I was told it was the idle air control motor failing, but when I called autozone and asked them about it, they said no its called an idle air control valve.. Are they the same? I have also heard that I could possible clean it, that the problem could be caused by some carbon build-up. It seems like and easy fix, but id rather narrow it down and know for sure than to start buying parts. I Appreciate any help/replies, thanks!

P.S. I had an older car or 2 where all I had to do is turn an idle screw, but cant seem to find one on this car nor in the Hayes manual.
