Generally speaking, valves bend to easily to do any harm to crank bearings.
I would imagine however.. if anything could position itself just right to stop a traveling piston, that force would be transmitted directly to a rod bearing. Close inspection to the piston tops will determine if any further damage should be sought out.
BTW:
Not long ago.. you were giving advice to junk these "dime a dozen" 4.6's since they can be found easily just about anywhere..
