There's always the VG30ET, VG30DE ,VG30DETT, small block V8's, Infiniti V8's...all legal in the states and very doable...

The SR can pass smog...you just gotta make sure to like change your plugs and make sure everything is running smoothly...bribing the guy helps too. LOL
