What I did, with the help of my son, was feed a string w/ a loop on the end through the hole, then, depending how thin your arms are, lay down on the floor and reach up through a gap in the dash by the gas peddle until you feel the hazard switch, pull it as far down as you can and loop the string around it and then pull on the string, guiding the switch back through the hole. What I did then was put a few drops of super glue around the base of the switch and firmly tugged on the string until the glue dried. It's not easy but MUCH easier than removing the dash!!
