what kind of weight is that....you are using those on the entire bodywork? What happened to the nice little SS button head cap screws (allen heads) with flange nuts that PAD uses? They use a 3/16" drill and 1/8th allen wrench....

yours look HUGE! There is a 100 of those things on our car. Did you change them all out? Maybe is the scale in the photo
Actually what you're seeing is the washer under the nut on the underside of the hood to spread the clamp load. The hardware is the exact same stuff Panoz uses, but with a slightly coarser thread... same size allen head and same size 7/16" socket to take them off. I took on to Fastenal with me to match it.

More work done today... we cleaned the car up, mounted the R6s and did all the track prep to it. Also added some fresh plug wire protectors etc.

R6 scrubs - 275/40/17s

New Plug wire boots

Daytime shot of the new tach and firebottle

Hoodpins done

Was about to wash it and put a coat of Rejex on the front end, but have to head back to Va Beach.

Car sharing it's new home w/ my father's LeMans Edition Z16 Z06 Corvette (which is for sale BTW).
