#5 connects to the fuel vapour collection cannister. I just capped it on my 2.8 V6 cherokee.

#3 is for a throttle kicker. It plugs into a pressure switch on the power steering hydraulic hose. The idea is when you turn the sterring wheel far enough to engage the power steering pump, this switch energises a small solinoid in the carb that increases idle speed just a little, so the PS pump does not stall the engine.

#'s 1,2 & 6 may not hook up to anything. My Jeep had several connectors just like this that were intended for applications or options I did not have. Remember the basic wiring harness was used for the V6 engine, 4 cyl engine and the diesel. They did not bother to eliminate wires if the application did not use them. They just left them, unused, in the wiring harness.

I'll have to look at my Jeep for the others. Most of the unnecessary stuff got tossed out when I turned it into an Edelbrock-powered rocket 20 years ago.
