Re: How to remove head bolt from cylinder head?

Well I managed to get the manifold stud out of one of the heads, but on the 2nd one, the stud snapped off in the cylinder head. I'll probably just take it to a machine shop down the road to have it drilled out rather than try it myself.

I don't have an angle meter to torque the head bolts, so hopefully I'll be ok just eyeing the degrees of turn. ??

Here's a pic of the honing grooves in the cylinder wall. Decent for 135k miles??
