I'm running with a local vintage club called Southwest Motor Sports. I run the car in a comtemporary class which is pretty wide open. It's gentlemen racing, no touching, which I like. This is my second full season, and I'm having a blast.
I'm also planning to run a couple of NASA events up with the Rocky Mountain Group. First race with NASA will most likely be at Pueblo Co in July.
The new 347 stroker motor is very strong, and in my first race with the new motor the car is running lap times equal to my Z06 Vette. Just what I wanted. I think the dyno showed 350 ft-lbs and 325 hp, so it fits perfectly in the ST 2 class for NASA. SWMS doesn't care what hp the car is making in the comtemporary class, it's run what you brung.
