Hi, Once again thank you. During all the years that I had worked on GM, Chrysler, and Ford, I only came accross innertia switches in Ford products.

I have traced the wiring to the fuel pump on this vehicle and have power to the pump and fuel gage.

I'm afraid that I have to drop the tank to replace a defective fuel pump

This is 1991 Lumina with a 3.1L engine. I should have given that information first.

I did not want to drop the tank, but I have no choice now. Thanks
