Every oil company and brands have unique detergents and sealing properties. Oils in general are made up of different base stocks and then the additives are added.
Any oil Guru will tell you to stay with one specific brand. Changing oils (different brands ) will have negative affects on your engines wear and sealing capabilities.
I run a fleet of vehicles and recently we obtained new 07 diesel emission engines which we require the latest CJ-4 rating. I was not happy that the current oil that I was using, was not going to be updated. We switched oils and are crossing our fingers now. The new diesel engines are using EGR & Cat's and if you don't use the right oil you will ruin these new components and the cost's involved are unbelievable.

It's a hard chioce, but stick with one brand designed for your vehicle.
