Hi -- actually, the timing belt was off by one tooth, when we fixed this everything was OK. No damage to the valves (all close to normal when adjusted). Replaced a lot of stuff -- battery, alternator, water pump, starter motor, distributor coil, air filter, spark plugs, idler roller & timing belt. It runs well and passed the smog test.
