I recall we went through the same when GM axed Oldsmobile. And Olds was the more historical division. It really doesn't make any difference anymore. Pontiacs will live on in the afterlife.
It looks like Toyota will number 1 in the U.S. soon. Speaking of which I can't stand looking at Camrys.
