Re: Aux Trans cooler install - pipe routing???
.
Today, I took an extra long lunch hour and installed / connected the 3/8" rubber hoses to my previously bolted down aux transmission cooler. Had to use the "special order" 90 degree pipe from my local NAPA store off the top of the main rad. And, its bottom pipe was a "pain" to cut and clamp down as well. But other then those PITA things, connecting the hoses went great.
For my technical skills, a very easy install. Next time, I could do both Rad and hose installs in 1/2 the time.
Finally... 100% of my van's trailering upgrades / installs is now completed. My '09 Montana EWB van can now tow either of my utility trailers without worry. Especially for my larger 6 x 10 max 3,600 lbs "loaded" trailer - that needs an aux oil cooler and brake controller in the van.
