I sold my Z28 after I blew the tranny. I just took what I thought it would be worth in working condition, then subtracted the amount quoted to fix it and listed it a few hundred more. That way I had room to negotiate.

So... for example:
$7500-~$1500-$1000+500=$5500, so you could start at $5500, or whatever you think is reasonable. I sold mine to some dumb kid, so I lucked out a bit.
