Re: P1633 and Dash issue

Ok I noticed when I used my alarm to unlock my car that the dash lights still didn't light up. I unhooked the rca cables from the back of my deck and I went in the trunk and electrical taped all of the loose wires even though they weren't stripped I thought maybe that little tip that was showing may have been touching something in the trunk. ( I have no carpet in my trunk) Then I checked the fuses under the hood with my Ohm meter they we're all good. I then decided to clean the battery terminals because of the code about low memory power I didn't know if it would fix it but hey regardless the terminals should be clean.

Then I put the fuse in and closed the door. I didn't try to turn on the lights because it was my last fuse and I was gonna wait until I got some more before I started blowing more fuses. When I closed my door and set my alarm I saw the dash light up. Hopefully it is a sign that the problem is fixed I'll find out after I goto the store tomorrow to get more fuses.

Sorry for posting 3 times in a row. I'm not doing it to up my post count or anything I'm just trying to leave a little journal of what I've done so far to try and find the problem.

O I also followed what wires I could from under the fuse holder under the dash until they we're out of reach all but one seemed fine. I'll be changing that connector tomorrow regardless.
