Yeah, I ran the check again and I am getting 41 psi with a 3 psi drop when running at idle with no a/c. The Haynes manual says that means everything is cool with the fuel system.
I did however find the culprit tonight. My automotive instructor once mentioned something about plug wires causing hot start problems so I decided to run a continuity test on the wires. When I pulled the #2 wire off the metal end of the wire came right off and the core was burning through (it crumbled as soon as I touched it). I cut back to good wire and reconnected it and now it starts all the time! The funny thing was those were Bosch premium wires.
