History -- never ever had the noise until I fixed a vacuum leak t(under the hood -- found it unplugged??) all of a sudden the vents would change as needed (Defroster , heat ...) shortly (30 miles ) the "growl" appeared -- disconnected and the noise got MUCH better , but still there EXCEPT when I turn right?

Is this on your car?
Does noise increase with car MPH?
The wheel bearing test is when going staright down road see if noise changes when you turn the steering wheel a little to right or left.
