The only thing that I can think of is to use a site, like the Rockauto site......and select a part.....and then select a part......in the window that comes up listing the different brands and prices, click on the manufacture's part number.......and a "buyer's guide" window comes up....showing what other years that the part number covers.

As an example....the camshaft bearing covers 1995-2003 3.8L windstar (and a number of other models, but some other parts will only cover 1 year.....etc.

I have been able to do this on the motorcraft website as well, although the motorcraft site lists fewer parts....but might list some that you cannot find elsewhere.

Some parts just will not match up.....but I see others that go 1995 -2003 and into the Freestar.
