Pulled the 3 coil packs off the car this morning, tested the primary and secondary resistance. Secondary between poles was around 6K Ohms which was good, I could not get a reading on the primary for
any of them. I tried using paper clips, however my ohm meter would read to 0 (mine defaults to the highest reading when there is no signal). Put both leads from the meter together to check and adjusted to 0. Still reading 0 on the primary circuit. Any ideas?
The MM does state that is has a 2kohm sensitivity which might explain why it's reading 0, this is also a regular MM not a DMM.
