Yes, this is something you can do yourself. I would suggest buying a Haynes manual for your specific vehicle, it will walk you through the process. You may need a few special tools. Puller to get the the crank pulley off, a special tool for aligning the crank sensor, not really sure of that myself but for my buick it says a special tool is required if removing and reinstalling the timing cover, and you have to get a socket to fit your crankshaft center bolt if you don't have handy in your set of tools. Maybe someone who has already done this on the same vehicle can add a little more insight. I will say I have done this on a few vehicles and it can be a job. Not much room to work around. While you have all of that stuff apart it would be a good idea to replace any seals that you can, I would even go ahead and buy a new oil pump kit, comes with gears and springs, and install. I would also go ahead and drop the oil pan and reseal as well. Might as well cause it is a job and better to do it all in one shot.
