Hello,
My father had recently borrowed my car and got a flat tire. While trying to replace the flat with a donut, the jack slipped out(?..his words) and the car fell onto the ground. The tire was off at this point and the donut was not on, so the rotor/drum (I am not sure what it is called, sorry) was exposed. He did manage to eventually get the donut. I took the car to get the tires replaced and heard a loud grinding/squeaking noise that I haven't heard before. I asked the guy if he could take a look at it and, after finishing, told me something about a dust panel(?) was slightly bent so he straightened it out. However, ever since then, my steering wheel started shaking...more of a rocking left and right. I first thought it may be my alignment, so i took it into another place to get my alignment readjusted. However, the rocking is still there. On a side note, my alignment still seems the same. The car veers to the left as it did before the alignment so I am not sure if they did a shady job. I am not sure what to make of this and was wondering if anyone could help me out in determining what may be the problem. Thank You.
