He said he wasnt able to shift it, even with the clutch pedal all the way down, and that this happened in one day of driving. His mechanic said he needed a clutch cable. I dont know how experienced his mechanic is. I think the problem could also be a bad clutch release fork, or even a clutch disc that was flaking apart from being burnt. But... a bad clutch cable is the only problem that could be fixed without the need to remove the transmission.
I told him to post in the Plymouth Breeze forum - althrough there is not much activity there.
He wondered if the cable was the same as one a P.T. Cruiser or other mopar product. The part # was 04593333, CABLE CLUTCH RELEASE


The local Dodge dealer here could get the cable in one or two days. I will send hector a p.m. with the cost.
