My glove compartment does everything but work.

It's hinge is broken, it literally broke off and can allow the compartment to be removed from the car. The lock is stuck engaged so you have to pull hard (but since the hinge is broken, it just falls out during hard turns or fast accelerations, literally injuring my passengers..)

Any ideas on how to fix this?
