2000 Lincoln Misfire

I have a 2000 Lincoln town car. The check engine light turned on and I took it in. I was told that there was a leak in the fill tube. I didn't fix it right away and then when the engine first starts it runs fine but after it heats up I get a little bit of a bucking (misfire). I got the fill tube fixed and the misfire began again right away. I took it back and they told me it was an intake manifold leak. Can that be right? Also is it possible that they never bled the gas line of the excess air or is that even a possibility?
