thats the coil pack your talking about if there is no spark to the plugs it will never start. you can try this take a plug out and then put the plug wire back on it and have someone turn motor over and look at plug see if it's orange or blue or nothing at all while turning it over you are not getting any spark. and if it shows orange thats not good it should be a blue spark. but like i say if no spark at all it will never run and you will smell gas. one other thing when you take plug out and it's wet with gas then i would say no spark from coil pack.
you may want to buy you a haynes manual for that car you can get them from autozone or advanced or most any parts stores thike those...good luck..
