Re: Windshield Washer Pump

I just replaced my daughter's in a '97 GP GT, and assuming there haven't been many changes in the few years between models you'll find it ridiculously easy. The new pump (available at the local parts store) was about a 5 min. job. The pump is held in place by a tight fitting rubber grommit at the bottom of the reservoir. If you're quick about it you won't lose much washer fluid doing the swap. Just gently twist and pull the pump out of the tank and reinstall the new one. You'll have enough clearance to disconnect the elec. connector and single rubber hose after you pull the old pump out..then reinstall the connections for your final move.
