I thought so as well. We checked them later that day and they were all tight and clean. Every single connection looked like brand new. Of course I was surprised at how tiny the battery and the cables were. I would swear they were not much bigger than a CAT5/network cable!

Anyone else? It's got me stumped that's for sure. She took it to a local shop and they tested the alternator and the battery. Both checked out good.

A bad battery connect sounds plausible. But it does not explain the CD player still trying to work and it definitely does not explain the door not being able to unlock with the key.
