I did some reading on laser detection, and the type of laser detection/detector simply varies by location.
Some cities/jurisdictions are "on top" of their game and got the latest/greatest guns to beat detection, but others, are way off, and can be beat with an old Cobra/Whistler from 1994
I hear, it helps to know someone in law enforcement - since it depends where you'll be driving. I.E. Sheriff and State Troopers likely have better radar than city police for example
