14lbs is fine for the stock motor as long as it's in good shape. But as Lando said, before you did anything ESPECIALLY putting a boost controller on, you should have gotten a boost gauge first. Take off the boost controller, wire everything back to stock and then get a boost gauge. Then do what you want.
