To take the grill out undo the screws at the top and lift it out.. The car actually gets pretty good MPG. A shame they scrimp on something as fundamental as headlight adjusting screws. I read after I posted this question that one guy put washers under the mounting brackets to adjust the headlight. Guess I'll have to try that.
