I was gonna do the write up w/ pics till I noticed the 2000+ ecu's dont have a reset screw like the 99 and lower...
However, on some Primeras over in the UK some pre-99's also had ecu's without reset screws. In the Haynes manuals for those cars it explains how to reset the ecu.
The process is done by shorting out (bridging a piece of wire) two contacts on the "consult connector" (the connecter next to your fuse panel near the steering column)
I'm assuming there is a similar way to do it with our 00+ ecu's, but by comparing the pictures of the euro consult connecter with our connecter, they look different. I dont want to chance it and bridge the wrong contacts...
