Re: Fuel Pressure Regulator Location
The fuel pressure regulator is located on the front end of the fuel rail. It has a vacuum hose coming out of the side going to a vacuum source. There is no schrader valve in the system. You would have to find the 2 fuel lines going into the fuel rail & insert an in-line tap to do the pressure check. The line toward the front of the car is the return line & the rearmost is the feed line from the tank via the fuel filter. I know that the fuel filters change with the month of construction, so you'll have to know that if you want to buy a new one.
The dealer or someone with the right computer can tell you the fuel pressure. Why do you need this info? Have you a problem or are you trying to increase your HP? All of this is done via the ECU and it would require replacing a chip in the ECU to make it all work together. The chip that makes the most power is made by Autothority. Select the chip for the B&B exhaust as it flows the most air by volume. This is how my car is currently equipped.
