Various blogs have been talking about the progression toward this chain of events for a few years now. I didn't realize it was that close.
It's been said that UN forces are already here, training on remote bases, chosen specifically because they will have no qualms about firing upon US citizens and subduing them when the order is given.
I've always dismissed it partly as so much fear mongering, but I think it could happen very easily.
