Chuck I went down to Advance auto part and picked up the resistor. The company who made it said standard. Made in some 3rd world country I think. I got 6 years out of that Battery so I went to walmart and bought there best one. $ 72.00 and change. So far so good. I had cut the plastic where the resistor mounted to make this one work. They give you a template and I just cut it out w/ a razor knife. The one I took out the plastic covering was just about all gone. ( GREEN COVERING ) there was like two metal pieces on one side and one on the other exposed to the weather. I was wondering if that was the problem. Anyway thanks alot you saved me some big $$$$$ on labor ! Jack T.
