Re: Honda CB750F Custom Tuned

Last days I started on this kit.

I readed the instructions, and saw that many parts needs te same color. So I collected all parts and separate them. Now I could paint all the parts.

First I removed the moldinglines and flash. Some parts were glued together before painting them.

The fueltank and front (mudguard?) are 2 separated parts. So after glued them together I had to fill up the gap with some putty.

The exhaust system also needed some putty. After sanding it I painted it semigloss black.

First I painted all parts semigloss black:

Some parts needs to be chromesilver/flat aluminium. So I painted them with semigloss silver which looks like flat chrome (like fujimi wheels etc.) Other parts like the discbrakes are painted with chromespray (motip).

The frameparts needed to be gloss black. But I didn't have any, so I painted it semigloss black and clearcoated it later.

The carburators and rearshocks are painted with Mica Silver.

The exhaust was painted semigloss after some puttywork.

The bodyparts are first painted with primer and after that it got 4 layers of Ice Blue/Silver.

Meanwhile I added the decals and clearcoated it, but pics will come later

Kris.
