Not to burst the bubble here, but considering that you looked at R32's before your Stealth, it would seem to me that you had a dream in mind to own one. But obviously it didn't work. On top of that, it seems that, if what I said is true to some extent, you pretty much contradicted your own advice.
Yes, owning a rare car is a dream, and some have the ability to follow those dreams, and others can't. Nothing more to be said about that.
In your case (vector) and mine, something detered you from owning one. Most would take that as a sign. I'm not saying don't buy one, but think of all the steps involved, risks to be taken, costs, and I do mean everything. That's what I've been saying all along.
Besides all that, I'm sure the OP has more in mind than just going the route of a 240 with an SR swap. There's plenty. Plus, if you want to advise him to own two cars, why not have a 240 with an SR swap, and have something else on the side. If not the 240, there's other options.
