I've just sold my late 2005 Laguna.
It was the 1.9 dci 120 model. When I sold it, it had 106,000 miles on the clock, I'd done over 70,000 of those myself.
It was a reliable car, never failed to start and it never broke down on me.
It required servicing every 18,000 miles.
However, the servicing costs were high, and the problem I has with it were always due to suspension/steering etc:
Rear axles bushes had to be replaced
Broken suspension spring
After about 80,000 it never felt right, like the steering was drifting and something was about to drop off, though the garage never found anything.
When I got rid of it, I'd just had a driveshaft replaced as the gator had split and there was no lubrication left, which messed it up.
It was like sitting on a bus when it was idling as well at this point. The garage said that there was probably an injector fault present, and it would be a costly investigation and fix.
That was when I decided to sell it.
Would I buy another one? No.
Reliable enough, and if you don't mind spending on the servicing then fine, but I wanted something with cheaper running costs.

Don't buy one, hard suspension, 3 broken springs, rear bushes went, front bushes went, all disks replaced, all at high cost, now instruments, panel instruments and lights failed, hoping its a connector [but!!!], good/excellent dci 1.9 engine on 50k miles 2001. Nice designed body, good on fuel 50+, awfull undercarriage, suspect electronics (now)
