I airbrush my primer, and I use alot of redücer in it. The initial coat gets sprayed without much thinner (to much redücer on bare plastic will etch), but later coats get thinned so they flow better and texture less. This also helps keep details clear. I have to clean out sanding dust from panel lines before respraying, but tracing them with a toothpick does that.

Bali Blau was apparently a rare 'special color' on early '60s 356s. The pics make it look brighter than the color actually is (the primer also is grey, not white

). I've been editing the pics a bit to show detail a bit better.
