Well....these little guys have:
(1989)
1.8L
90hp@5500rpm
100lbs-Torque@3000rpm
In-Line 4 cylinder
3 speed Auto or 5 speed manual.
(2214lbs-Auto)- -(2,274lbs-Manual) Curb Weight
They handle like they are on a rail which is a plus.
Be shure do get the breaks checked and the engine checked cause my friend who just got one for 1500 and its the Karmann edition(89) but the engine cant idle very well or it'll die and its kinda rough idling, but he has 11,000 more miles than that one you saw. The breaks kinda squeek when he stops and so do the wheels when he drives. And a Few nicks and dings on it.
-But heres the deal it didnt start dying until his mom put some stuff called HEET into the car, and the car started to idle at like 300rpms(3 hundred

) and eventually die out.
I think its a pretty good deal but make sure you take it to a mechanic and get a full inspection....the car is running on like 10-14 years old depending on the year. Thigs built pretty well....looks a bit odd with the to up thought but what ever. Looks good with the top down. Its a good car for a new driver or a good projuect car....saw one with a body kit and it actually looked really cool.
