It means your EVAP system has leak (I believe it's a large leak code), it could be any of the EVAP components (purge valve, vent valve, loose hose...etc). It will trigger the check engine light again even if you somehow can resets it. It shouldn't affect your engine performance but it will cost you money overtime since your fuel vapor is leaking (gas is expensive). To fix it, you will need a smoke machine to find where the leak is at and that something you will probably need to let the repair shop to do.
