Yeah if I were to go for another civic it would likely be an EG hatch. I would sacrifice it being heavy as hell for the look, Done right I think they can look pure sex. And the tailgate is awesome.
I don't mind my hatch but I just have to tell myself its half a crx lol. I would love another crx, this time to be done entirely by me the way I want, and quality work. Like my hatch is now...
If I didnt get an eg or a crx I have been thinking alot about the AWD platforms, and I think I could grit my teeth and drive an ugly wagon as long as the damn thing was turbo and I could make evos cry.
Also, I would laugh my way to the finish line if I could find a 5spd 4wd CRV, I saw one once with a turbo b18c1 running in the 12's. That would be the most bad ass small suv/ grocery getter. Id lower it down and do a nice suspension setup and autocross the hell out of it. I found ONE on ebay, and it wasnt too far from me. But 5k is out of my range for the base of a build...maybe the final cost down the road.
