FYI: For those trying to decide on switching from DexCool...not a good idea. Here is an article concerning this and how certain engine parts were made for use with DexCool, and should not be used with other non-OAT type coolants. http://free-auto-repair-advice.blogs...label/Dex-Cool
I have used DexCool for over 10 years in my vehicles in which it was installed from the factory and have not had any issues. Like previously stated, if it is maintained properly,(i.e. changed every 2 to 3 years, etc,) it shouldn't give you any issues.
