Sounds strange - could it be a large air bubble that had to work it's way out of the way? Was the temp gauge moving back and forth when you drove it after the headgasket job?

Now that it has been a few more days did the light go off yet.

How about some more background - what symptoms did you have a few months back that resulted in the LIM replacement. Do you now think your problem was the head gaskets all along or did that somehow develop after you did the LIM gasket.

I am starting to see that it is often a bit difficult to tell if issues are LIM gaskets or headgastket problems - wouldn't you agree?
