Actually, the elite reach low 9's with a pro rider. 4 years ago, a Kawasaki ZX11 was able to run a 9.45 in the 1/4 stock with OEM tires. The Suzuki Hayabusa (GSX-R 1300) is more powerful, and lighter...imagine that. As a disclaimer, the same bikes would probably run high 10's with an okay rider, and 13's with a novice. With bikes, the rider makes that much more of a difference.
