Re: problem starting
But
Does the warranty cover tow bills and breakdown headaces and replacement labor cost?
Not sure what brand pump or what parts place you got it from.
If the pump is under warranty ask the parts place to get you a AC-Delco/Delphi fuel pump and adjust the cost of the pump to the cost of the good AC pump.
Usually only 25-35 dollars more for the good one.
Which will save you 300-400 dollars each time the aftermarket pump quits.
When replacing the bad one make sure you check the wiring and grounds to the replacement pump.
If pigtail wiring is or was replaced make sure you solder the wires and seal the solder joints.
The crimp fittings that come with the pumps are a junk setup.
Solder wires instead of using crimp wire splices.
And will save you 100-200 dollars on tow bills and 100-200 dollars on replacement cost each time it fails.
Good Luck
