First off, is the guage a wideband or narrow band o2 sensor? If its a narrow band, I wouldnt take a lot of stock in it.
Secondly, what are you using for fuel adjustment? You cant simply toss in bigger injectors and exect the ECU to know, so you are going to be running quite rich. There's a few ways you can go about it, but for the newbie the best two options would be DSMlink or a SAFC variant + datatlogger.
The SAFC and datalogger is cheaper, but far more limited. The SAFC can only adjust fuel and can only support 650 cc injectors and even then its pushing it.
DSMlink is going to be a little more epensive, but its entirely worth the price. Not only can you datalog and adjust fuel like you can with the above combo, but there is a laundry list of other things you can do such as nitrous controls, no lift to shift, studderbox, antilag, etc. Its about $555 shipped new plus you'd need the EPROM ECU that goes for like $225. You can get the DSMlink and ECU package used for like $600 though if you shop around.

Build on hold until I get a good paying job, either in school or once I get out. At that time a full tear down and complete rebuild should be in order.
