Re: Taurus failure codes 1744 and 741
Thoe codes indicate slippage being detected, both issues are related to the tcc solenoid, 1741 is continous slippage, 1744 is excessive slippage. Your trans man need to check operation of the tcc, torque clutch converter.. as usual, other trans pieces may, not necessarily, be causing an issue also with this.
