1999 Cougar loosing electrical power and all dash ok when restart. My daughter will be driving her car then the radio will stop then the dash instruments stop working and then the car runs rough then dies. She leaves it till I get to her and I start it right up and everything is fine. I drive it to safety then turn it off and it wont restart. Like the battery is way down. The click click thing. This is the second time this has happened, The first time a few days ago I took the battery in for testing and they found a bad cell. Replaced it for free
I would not think that it would be a battery again? Any ideas on what I should try next. Anyone have this type of problem before? Help!!!
